Female 55 years Finnish

Oma- tai vuokra-asunto, Uusimaa

Description of everyday life

I'm a 55-year-old lady, and I live right here in Helsinki with my children. My typical morning follows a routine that's important to me. I start by waking up and then focus on my morning prayers, reading the Quran. It's a peaceful way to begin my day. After that, I take some time to cook and make sure my children are up and ready for school.
One thing that concerns me deeply is the situation in Somalia because some of my family still lives there. It's hard not to worry when your loved ones are facing challenges in their homeland.

The highlights of my day come when I perform my prayers and get myself ready to face the day. Family holds a special place in my heart, and I cherish the moments when we all gather to share meals. Now, when it comes to technology, I have used a phone, but I must admit, I'm not really a fan of relying on technological devices. I have always believed that I don't need much technology to navigate my life. As for my neighbors, well, I don't know them very well. You see, Finnish people aren't always the friendliest, and they tend to keep to themselves, especially when dealing with foreigners like me.

One of the most significant turning points in my life was when my husband passed away. It changed the way I view life today and made me appreciate the simple and meaningful moments even more.
